Kansas City can boast quite rich automotive history which is the theme of the Kansas City Automotive Museum. The history museum offers educational and entertainment programs for both children and adults.
Now they have 30 cars on display rotating every 4-6 months, other historic material such as 28 reader boards, interactive videos.The significant 1912 Model T is also displayed here. It began being assembled right here in Kansas City in 1912. There is a big family-friendly area with photo opportunities, racing simulators, kids design studios, remote control cars and lots of other things for the whole family. Besides the museum hosts monthly car club meetings.
The museum is currently featuring the Military Month display. Now these are Jeeps spanning the period from World War II to the Vietnam era. The featured models include a Ford GP, M-38, M-151. In addition on display there will be a Dodge ¾ ton truck, an ambulance, a Mule and other vehicles used in Vietnam. A World War II Cushman scooter and a courier's bicycle, personal weapons, military personnel mannequins, a gas mask display and an army chow display are all presented here.
Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame has charitable and educational purposes. It honours the famous drivers, crew members, mechanics, officials and other individuals who have made a great contribution to automotive sport.
