The Auto Museum in Loheac, France is a must to visit for devoted car lovers and fans. Here you will surely spend your time with use, deep into the history of automobile industry from the very first vehicles. On the area of around 15,000 qm can be found more than 400 vehicles.
The collection of the museum is rather big and includes the Hall of Ancestors, Race Cars, Lamborghini room, Hall of models, Luxury and Cyclecars, Ferrari Enzo room, Amphibians and Peugeot, Starting grid F1, Tavern atmosphere, Rallycross, small sport, horse-drawn vehicles and GT room.
The Hall of Ancestors displays the exhibits of the late 19th and early 20th century. The oldest representative of these is the De Dion Bouton of the year 1899. Taxi of the Marne, the Citroën 5HP, post-war cars with the 4CV, Traction, Aronde, 2CV are the static representatives of this section.
The race cars section honours the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the bright examples such as Jaguar XJR11, the Peugeot 908 HDI FAP, the René Bonnet Aerojet and others. The Hall of Models clearly shows how the children’s toy turned into a collector’s item.
If you visit the Luxury cars section you will be greatly impressed by the sparkle of lights and gorgeous look of these models: Lafayette, Cadillac, Rolls Royce and Jaguar (GB), Talbot, Mercedes, Hotchkiss, Packard (USA), Renault Reinastella, Panhard and some others.
