Located in Fort Lauderdale, FL the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum houses the largest collection of Packard Cars and historical memorabilia from 1900. The collection was started by Arthur Stone, a fan of Packard automobiles. He was a devoted admirer of their style, elegance and engineering. Due to that they were valued amongst richer people and always attracted attention. As the founder said his goal was to collect one model for each year of the period of company's existence. He made it quite successfully. A visit here is unforgettable - an unusual surrounding and the presence of the spirit of the past make you feel like in another time, long time ago.
The museum exhibits not only cars but also hood ornaments, carburetors, old gas station signs, lamps, horns, lighters & ashtrays, vintage magazines & photos, gear-shift knobs, an exhibit dedicated to Franklin D. Roosevelt and others.
