The Saratoga Automobile Museum (SAM) is a perfect venue to spend a day off amongst live witnesses of time and get unforgettable experience. SAM is suitable for all ages and moods. It preserves and displays automobiles and automotive artifacts thus rendering the educational mission displaying motor history of New York State.
The museum is located at Saratoga Spa State Park, in Saratoga Springs, New York. The museum itself is housed in the restored Saratoga Bottling Plant, built in 1934. The Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the landmark Gideon Putnam Hotel are located in a close proximity. Other attractions such as the Spa Little Theatre, the National Museum of Dance and the lavish Hall of Springs banquet facility are also nearby.
SAM offers space for private events as well: exhibition galleries, conference room and the orientation theatre.
The current exhibitions include: The Gavel: cars of the Auto Auction, Michael Dipleco: photography, Robert Selkowitz: auto sketches, East of Detroit, Racing in New York State, The New York State Stock Car Hall of Fame and the Bottling Plant.
